Pizza

Recipe adapted from The New York Times. Makes two 12" pizzas or one 11" x 17" pizza

Makes two 12" pizzas

INGREDIENTS
  • 7 oz water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 ½ cup flour (11.25 oz)
INSTRUCTIONS

Combine water, salt, sugar, yeast and oil. Combine flour with water mixture. Mix for 3 minutes. Let rest 15-30 minutes then knead 3 minutes until smooth.

If making two pizzas, divide dough into two smooth balls. Cover and let rest 3-4 hours at room temperature or overnight in refrigerator.

Shape dough into pizza pie. Top with your favorite toppings... a little pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, etc.

Bake at 475° for 10-15 mins.
